# Downloading

## Download Conditions

* **Up to 3 GB** per Bulk download and no limits to downloading of individual files.
* Media classified **RESTRICTED** should not be downloaded onto PEDs.

> Certain download features are unavailable on DWP devices due to security:
>
> * Download of large media file due to download limit.

## How to download media

1. [Select media to download.](/pinpoint-guide/user-guides/mobile/editing-media-details.md#how-to-edit-metadata)
2. Press the "Download" icon in the media details drawer if a single file was selected, or in the toolbar if selecting multiple files.

3. The download file will be prepared instantly. After the download is complete, a notification will be displayed to inform the user of completion.

1. Files would be downloaded in the user's "download" folder.
   * For a single selection, the media will be downloaded as per the file type.
   * For multiple selections, media will be downloaded as a **zip** file.
