# Downloading

## Download Conditions

* **Up to 3 GB** per Bulk download and no limits to downloading of individual files.
* Media classified **RESTRICTED** should not be downloaded onto PEDs. 

> Certain download features are unavailable on DWP devices due to security:
>
> * Download of large media file due to download limit.

## How to download media

1. [Select media to download.](/pinpoint-guide/user-guides/desktop-laptop/editing-media-details.md#how-to-edit-metadata)
2. Click on the download icon in the media detail tab.

3. A notification will appear, informing the user that the download has started. The download file will be prepared instantly and shown in the browser for direct download.

4. Files will be saved in the "downloads" folder on the user's PC.
   * For a single selection, media will be downloaded as per the file type.
   * For multiple selections, media will be downloaded as a **zip** file.
