# Tag View with Albums

Tag view allows you to create albums with tags, offering an instant overview of workspace files.

## What is the difference between Tag View and traditional folders?

<table><thead><tr><th></th><th width="272">Pinpoint Tag View with Albums</th><th>Traditional Folders</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>How to create</td><td>Automatically created and sorts media by tags</td><td>Manually created</td></tr><tr><td>Flexibility</td><td>High flexibility as the same media can be in multiple albums, so it can be searched in many ways</td><td>Less flexible as every media file can only be in 1 folder</td></tr><tr><td>Compatibility with tags</td><td>Builds upon tags</td><td>Separate from tags</td></tr></tbody></table>

## How to Start Using Tag View

### 1. Add Tags to Your Media

Upload your media, and categorise them with tags like people, objects, or events.&#x20;

This is where media will be auto-grouped in albums based on tags.

### 3. Pin Albums

Pin important albums so everyone in the workspace can quickly locate essential media.
