# Login 

This page displays the steps to login to PinPoint. Do note that, PinPoint is only available for use by public officers with a gov.sg email.

## How to login to Pinpoint

### With Email

1. Go to "<https://app.pinpoint.gov.sg/login>"

2. Enter your email and click "Get OTP"

   * Only  ".[gov.sg](http://gov.sg/)" domain emails from whitelisted organisations will be allowed to log in.
   * For defencemail (defence.gov.sg), please use your longform email and not your shortform email when logging in. (e.g., use "Jason\_lim\_zhi\_hao@" instead of "Jlimzih@")
   * Users should read the [Terms of Use](https://file.go.gov.sg/pinpoint-tou.pdf) and [Privacy Policy](https://file.go.gov.sg/pinpoint-privacy.pdf) before logging in.&#x20;

3. Check your email for the OTP received&#x20;

4. Input OTP into the field & click "Sign in"

5. Congratulations! You have successfully logged in to Pinpoint. Try [Uploading](/pinpoint-guide/user-guides/desktop-laptop/uploading.md)!

#### Invalid / expired OTP

If your OTP has expired or is invalid, click on the "Resend OTP" button and check your email for the new OTP.

### With Singpass

If you have [linked your Singpass to your Pinpoint account](#how-to-link-unlink-singpass), you can log in with Singpass.

1. Go to "<https://app.pinpoint.gov.sg/login>"
2. Click "Login with Singpass" and authenticate via Singpass.

#### Unlinked / Expired Singpass

If your have not linked your Singpass to your Pinpoint account, or if your Singpass linkage had expired, an error will be shown describing what went wrong. In this case, the Singpass button will disabled and you will be required to [log in with your email](#with-email).

## How to Link/Unlink Singpass

You can link Singpass to your Pinpoint account to enable logging in with Singpass. This link will be in place for 90 days before expiring.

1. Click "Link to Singpass" in the side panel

2. Click "Link Singpass" and authenticate via Singpass.

3. If successful, your Singpass name will show in this dialog.&#x20;

4. To unlink, press the "Unlink Singpass" button.

## How to Log out

1. Click "Log out" in the side panel
2. Click "Log out" in the confirmation dialog
