# About Pinpoint

## What is Pinpoint?

Pinpoint is a secured AI-powered platform that can be used to store, tag, find and share your images and videos easily anytime. It also features facial recognition, automatically tagging people in your image when uploaded.

## Who can use Pinpoint?

Pinpoint is available to all **MINDEF/SAF** personnel and **WOG officers** with internet-enabled **.gov.sg** emails (e.g. Defence Mail, DWP).

## What data can Pinpoint handle?

Pinpoint is hosted on [Government on Commercial Cloud](https://www.developer.tech.gov.sg/products/categories/infrastructure-and-hosting/government-on-commercial-cloud/overview) (GCC) and is built with security features and practices that make it **IM8** compliant for usage up to **RESTRICTED / SENSITIVE  NORMAL** materials.
